What You’ll Do
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Managing and supervising construction crews and subcontractors.
- Review the work progress on daily basis and plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between the clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams, ensuring smooth project progression.
What You’ll Bring
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a construction management, construction site supervision– or a similar type of role.
- Proven working experience in construction management.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
Your Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk:
- 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day
- Sit for extended periods
- Kneel and bend at the waist
- Walk up and down stairs
- Walk on unlevel terrain
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Reach with hands and arms
- Talk and hear
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision
